October 2009
Just got the most important lesson of my life from @eenapooh. Thank you, you. <3
September 2009
Done with writing! Just citations and the paper’s done! Now it’s time to go to astronomy…
I am very saddened by the fact that I’m missing part of a Jed start because my astronomy lab is tonight. #playjedcarlsonlowrie

I just lived my dream of sitting in an NCAA dugout! We’re Division III, but still!
Except it never actually trended.
JED IS STARTING! <3! It’s so because I made #playjedcarlsonlowrie a trending topic last night.
RT @AmalieBenjamin Lineup: Gathright (CF), Reddick (LF), Kotchman, Ortiz, Baldelli (RF), Kottaras, Gonzalez, Lowrie (3B), Woodward (2B).
I love the fact that I did a lot of my research on the Eddie Plank paper over a year ago.
Eddie Plank had a personal catcher named Doc Powers. Personal catchers are AMAZING. (See Kawai Kazuki and Takase Junta.)
It’s like I knew I was going to do a research paper on him someday.
Back to Plank time. Eddie’s interesting, but I just want to get this thing done.

Eddie Plank, and then some →
As I’ve been mentioning on my Twitter lately, I’m working on a term paper on Eddie Plank, he of the 326 career wins (third all-time for a LHP) and 2.35 career ERA. He’s been keeping me quite busy…

of aether, thus rendering them unchanging and perfect and heavenly. Except he was kind of wrong. Whoops, Aristotle.
“If you had a flawless rabbit, it would be an aether bunny.” - My astronomy professor
The joke is that aether (pronounced eee-ther) is a supposedly unchanging, perfect substance. Aristotle supposed the moon and stars were made
MY JED CARD IS IN! WITH A PIECE OF HIS JERSEY FROM WHEN HE PLAYED FOR TEAM USA IN COLLEGE! I HAVE OFFICIALLY TOUCHED SOMETHING HE WORE!
I think that this constitutes a requirement to put Jed Lowrie on the playoff roster: http://bit.ly/YYCve
It clearly works in Angel-defeating, as seen in the aforementioned link/video.
Playing the Angels yet again. Wow. So surprised.
OH HAY LOOK WHO WON THE AL WILD CARD
The Angels are actually winning. Color me stunned.

Hey, it’s worth a go.
I think the 2004 Pac-10 Player of the Year deserves an at-bat or two, at least from the right side. #playjedcarlsonlowrie
C’mon, Angels, let’s go!
Tito: I will wear my LSJUMB uniform every day until you play Jed. I will. #playjedcarlsonlowrie
He’s worked hard for it this year - he’s been fighting so hard and he’s come such a long way, poor baby. #playjedcarlsonlowrie
Wilson Valdez cannot “hit his way out of a wet paper bag,” according to the Nats commentators. Wow.
Geez, Clayboy, that was rough! You’d better be in shape next inning, Mister.
Danny Murphy? Haha! http://bit.ly/zDoZB
The 1913 World Series is enjoyable to write about. Especially when it’s for school.
He played for the Athletics from 1902-1913. And then moved on to the Brooklyn Tip-Tops. What?
Large leads are preferred because they imply Lowrie Time.
That’s it, Victor! C’mon, boys, let’s come back and win this thing!
Finally getting to the end of Plank’s life in my paper. It’s such a shame that he died so young.
I don’t know how much more MASN commentary I can take. Seriously.
Eddie Collins. AMAZING. http://bit.ly/RpVHO
Sox, please to be winning. I vote we put in that Lowrie kid. The pitcher’s left-handed!
The more middle infield failure I see, regardless of the team, the more it makes me miss my little Stanfordian klutz.
Wow, Hernandez and Castillo.
He had a stroke at age 50. I feel so terrible…
Hooray, I just compared Eddie Plank to Greg Maddux in a college paper! I get massive lame points!
SHE ACTUALLY TALKS. AND I ACTUALLY LISTENED. WHAT THE HELL.
BARBIE INTERVIEW ON AMAZON? http://www.amazon.com/gp/mpd/permalink/mPPB6AHDJEEAO
I guess I really am not in the mood to write about Eddie Plank today.
