Already trying to catch up with fandom in general, so I’ve been watching Gurren Lagann, Soul Eater and Tiger and Bunny to see what they’re all about. Let me know what you folks think I should be watching.
Please, or else I’ll just keep watching the two-minute section of episode sixteen of Oofuri season one where Junta starts laughing and can’t stop.

I watched season one of Oofuri for the first time...
Well, a big chunk of it, because Hayley still hasn’t finished it and I’m basically forcing it on her. But oh my gosh, it’s still so wonderful.
Junta is also still really attractive.

seriously, girls ARE drama. I am not surprised by the cattiness. It’s just different from most cattiness seeing as it’s more “OH EM GEE MY TEAM IS BETTER” and not “OH EM GEE DON’T STEAL MY BOYFRAN YOU BETCH!”

So I talked to one of my mom's former co-workers...
She’s in her 50s, unmarried, and has three chihuahua children, and she’s an extremely happy woman. When I was telling her about how I get discouraged a lot because my generation has extreme pressure to be in a relationship of some sort on it, she told me to relax - she didn’t go on her first real date until she was 25 or so, and she actually dates more now than she did at my age...
