So I think Mihashi might be autistic.
As someone who actually is autistic (I have Asperger’s), I tend to lean more towards social anxiety disorder when talking about Mihashi, but his tendency to be non-verbal is a somewhat autistic trait. I’m more of the mind that because he was bullied so severely as a kid, he’s extremely anxious around new people and is terrified that he won’t be accepted, which is pretty characteristic of social anxiety disorder (it develops a lot in people who are bullied).
That being said, people do get frustrated with me the way Abe gets frustrated with Mihashi a lot, so maybe…
