Steph is a 2011 graduate of Gettysburg College (majored in history, minored in Civil War Era studies) and current graduate student at Pratt Institute (library science with a focus in Archival Studies) who loves baseball, anime, writing, drawing, Rogue Squadron, cars (and Top Gear), comedy (especially its history and, naturally, the British variety) and her cats and Old English Sheepdogs. Fond of Stanford even though she doesn't go there. Has Asperger's syndrome, a mild form of autism. Created the 30-Day Baseball Meme. One time she made a music video about Buster Keaton's love affair with trains. Since she's an archivist-in-training, she often preserves things on her own. See her scans here.

Author of the webcomic The Historians, the excuse to draw dead comedians called Comedian Heaven, and Londinium, a novel in the making set in 1863 London. Scriptwriter for the webcomic Home By Now, a story about time travel, music, history and general hijinks (meet the incredible artist here!).

Very occasionally posts about herself when she's not posting about baseball, dead people, Top Gear or her pets.

This photo makes me lol because Alan looks like he’s possessed and ready to kill the camera man, Jonathan’s just like “Urgh, fuck’s sake, ‘nother photo” and Peter and Dudley are like “Bow down to us, bitches.”

Peter isn’t thrilled with this turn of events, Dud.

The ones that are done so far are, of course, Peter Cook and Dudley Moore and Laurel and Hardy. This should shock nobody.

I’m fed up with the lack of “Not Only.. But Also” posts on tumblr (Shame on you all!). Looks like I’m going to have to do something about this…

If i was smart enough to figure it out, I would’ve had this problem solved for you

However, my smallish human brain doesnt function to normal tumbliwumblie capacity

That’s very kind of you to concern yourself with solving my problem! ^_^ However, with my new-found gif-making power, I’m basically going to go through all my dvds and turn them into gifs, including my “Best of Pete and Dud”, my “Best of Spike Milligan”, my collection of Secret Policeman Balls from 1970s to 1980s, and every single other dvd that I own. So watch this space!

YES YES YES YES YES ALL OF THIS. WE NEED NOBA ALL OVER TUMBLR.

Which reminds me, I should draw more NOBA stuff instead of constantly drawing things from the art gallery sketch over and over again.

I've been meaning to ask who are the characters you have as your avatar?

They’re Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, two British comedians who have had a ridiculous amount of influence on my writing since about 2007 or so.

(I actually literally wrote about how they influence my writing on one of my other blogs today.)

I may eventually make this into a pin if anyone would be interested in that sort of thing.

There will be plenty of other double acts coming, too.

This updated on Thursday and the author/artist forgot to tell everyone.

The next page comes on Thursday, but there’ll be a tribute drawing to Jonathan Winters in between that - he’s our newest cast member!

I’m not good at remembering when my queued pages run.

So Farewell Then just arrived, and I’m 99% sure that I now have every Peter Cook biography/collection going, dear me.

Oh, good, I’m not the only person obsessively buying books on him (and Dudley too)! (I just picked up a book on BTF, From Fringe to Flying Circus and That Was Satire That Was this past December.)
