New Jersey has voted to legalize gay marriage! To celebrate, here is a photo of my gay cat, Tony. I’ve been his straight ally for over five years now (it’ll be six in October).

This is my boy Tony!
I’ve been a straight ally since high school to many of my friends, and I think it’s time to help out one more of them, one who is extremely close to my heart. On the 11th of October, I am going to stand up for Tony, my third cat, who is gay. I absolutely adore this cat, and he, along with the Central Park Zoo penguins and many animals, is proof that homosexuality is natural and perfectly normal. So help me support Tony and LGBT humans and animals everywhere!

OH NOES CATS EVERYWHERE
…For whatever reason, all four of them were in my room right after I tidied it up earlier. I did not have food, so this is a mystery to me. Either way, here they all are!
My bedroom is actually a library with a bed in it. Yeah. Also, Mittens and Tony make cameo appearances.
Tony finally let me show you all his gorgeous blue eyes!
Yes, I included my cat Tony on my list of gay friends. Here he is with his older brother, Gimli. Tony’s the white one with beautiful blue eyes; Gimli’s the orange one.

As someone with a few gay friends and one gay cat (Tony - I’m so convinced he’s gay), I’m fully behind this.
Besides, I want my son Tony to get married. Even though he’s, you know, a cat.
A few years ago, my dad noticed a tiny, skinny kitten in an alley behind a store. Even though that store is over 40 miles from our house, my dad drove there every few days to put out food for the kitten. After a few months, he finally earned her trust and managed to catch her.
She is now a happy, plump house cat. My dad’s kindness GMH.
I read this as Tony was sitting next to me. He’s our third cat, and Dad and I spent two to three hours in a cold Barnes and Noble parking lot trying to catch him so we could take care of him. He’s currently kneading the couch and purring loudly. He’s such a beautiful boy and I’m so happy to have him!
OH MY GOD. So glad I found these.
This is Tony, my third cat, when he was just a baby. He’s going to be four this August.
